EPC Director's Circle

The Emory National Primate Research Center (EPC) is a leader among the nation's primate research centers, a resource to researchers worldwide, an advocate for quality care of animals in research and a source of inspiration for the scientific leaders of tomorrow.

To help our center extend our community and educational outreach, and our philanthropic connections, we established the Director's Circle in 2007 to facilitate greater awareness about the center and our role in improving health worldwide.

Current Director's Circle members represent the corporate, legal, medical, non profit, research and technology sectors, and each one brings unique talents and expertise that are helping further interest in and engagement with the EPC. Our members also align with EPC leadership, faculty and staff in our dedication to find causes, preventions, treatments and cures for diseases so we can help people and animals live longer, healthier lives.

Members meet at least two times annually to:

  • Hear research updates, including the latest scientific advancements;
  • Learn more about our strategic priorities; and
  • Help the center prioritize funding needs and identify non governmental funding sources.

If you are interested in learning more about the EPC and helping us further connect with the community and donors, consider becoming a Director's Circle member. Contact Lisa Newbern for more information.
